    Gerald’s journey in the kitchen began at home, learning by the side of his beloved mother, Mrs. Florie Hedrick. It was in her kitchen that he discovered the heart of cooking — the power of food to nourish, comfort, and connect. With her guidance, he learned not only recipes, but also the love, patience, and soul it takes to create a truly memorable meal. Her influence still flavors every dish he serves today.

    The food truck itself is a tribute to another powerful figure in Gerald’s life — his late father, a hardworking, respected man affectionately known as “Mr. Huck.” Naming the truck in his honor was Gerald’s way of preserving and sharing his father’s legacy. From him, Gerald inherited more than a name — he carries a strong work ethic, generous heart, and a magnetic personality that lights up every cookout, conversation, and customer experience.

    Dot, having Latin roots, adds her own vibrance to the truck’s story. She and Gerald share a love for travel and cultural exploration, always chasing new flavors and culinary experiences. Together, they’ve fallen in love with the bold, earthy spices and fresh herbs found in Latin cuisine — flavors that now serve as a cornerstone in Mr. Huck’s offerings.

    As Gerald’s great niece, Chatt proudly represents the next generation of the family legacy. Raised in a large, close-knit family, she never missed a chance to spend meaningful time with her great-grandparents, along with her great aunts and uncles. Learning from their talent, admiring their wisdom and overall cherishing stories about their upbringings, such moments are what has shaped the foundation of her character. She credits their influence for the strong values, work ethic, and determination that guide her personally and professionally.

    While deeply committed to honoring her roots, Chatt brings her own unique strengths to the table. With a background in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, she has supported both healthcare and manufacturing organizations—industries that require adaptability, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach. Chatt has never been afraid of people or task that involves physical effort, hard work, or even morally challenging activities

She leads efforts to streamline operations, enhance customer experience, strengthen brand identity, and develop forward-thinking growth strategies.
